    Summary of Position:

    This position is responsible for maintaining continuity of operations on both the entry and exit end of the business.  This is achieved through coordination of the flow of materials between departments and facilities according to the Production Master Schedule.  In this position, job tasks include planning, scheduling, and managing multiple tasks. This position will be located at the Church Street Facility and report to the Director – Production Planning.

     

    Responsibilities/Job Duties:

    • Coordinate material flow from Niles to external and internal customers
    • Create work orders for a Configured to Order Product Line
    • Monitor Production Schedule and communicate with Department Supervisors
    • Correct production reporting errors and balance Work Orders
    • Work closely with Customer Service Department to advise status of Sales Orders
    • Work with the Quality Control department regarding quality issues
    • All other duties as assigned

     

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Associate Degree in related field preferred
    • Strong preference for prior work experience in discrete manufacturing planning
    • Strong decision making, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills
    • Ability to use Advanced Planning computerized tracking and inventory systems
    • Flexibility to work in an industrial environment
    • Familiar with the use of computers (Micro Soft Applications, ERP Systems, etc)
    • Microsoft Office Suite Applications familiarity is required
    • Ability to pass hair follicle drug/physical/background check
    • Legally authorized to work in the US
