Z-Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Mateline Constructor to join our Field Services Division. Located in various locations in Texas and Arizona. Reporting to the General Superintendent, the ideal candidate will have multiple years of general hands on construction experience.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Working with hand and/or power equipment in a construction setting
• Hanging, Taping and Finishing drywall
• Painting
• Ceiling Installation
• General Architectural finishes such as cabinet, door, and door hardware installation.
• Closet shelving installation
• Material handling
• Ensuring proper safety procedures are followed
• Operating mobile equipment
• Operating packing and banding equipment
• All other general construction tasks required to completely finish the communities new apartments
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role
• Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.
• Must have general construction experience
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for several hours
• Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.
• Must be able to lift 60lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 10-12 hours
• Ability to perform work in a plant/manufacturing environment
• Other physical requirements as needed for job
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
