Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Site Superintendent for our site operations. Reporting to the General Superintendent, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing multiple construction projects, acting as the linchpin between various project stakeholders, site-specific superintendents, schedules, plant personnel, and more. The Senior Site Superintendent will provide leadership and management to on-site construction teams, ensuring quality standards are met, and projects are completed on time and within budget. Effective communication is paramount, and top candidates will be strong leaders, proactive, and able to perform well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Coach, mentor, and train other site-specific field personnel.
• Ensure comprehensive management and monitoring of all site-related items and subcontractors, including internal, municipal, and third-party entities.
• Provide necessary support for site operations.
• Participate in evaluations and reviews.
• Lead and manage on-site construction teams, overseeing site superintendents.
• Monitor daily schedules of vertical and horizontal subcontractors and corresponding discipline schedules.
• Foster collaboration between subcontractors and maintain corresponding schedules.
• Coordinate and oversee all work on-site.
• Attend production meetings.
• Review and familiarize oneself with schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence to these.
• Provide weekly schedule updates and contribute to 3-week look-ahead schedules.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Place orders for materials and take responsibility for equipment and materials on-site.
• Follow the project timeline to meet deadlines.
• Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness.
• Maintain records for site personnel, including daily field reports, field orders, and RFIs.
• Liaise with inspection authorities regarding approvals.
• Establish, promote, and nurture teamwork.
• Collaborate with project-specific peers, including Project Manager, Project Engineer, General Superintendent, etc.

Construction Sr. Superintendent Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
• Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.

Construction Superintendent Requirements:

• 15+ years’ experience as a Construction Superintendent, specializing in ground-up construction, particularly in commercial and/or multifamily sectors.
• Preferred expertise in podium wrap construction.
• Proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel.
• Experience with scheduling software, CAE, CAD applications, and digital photography. Preferred experience with Procore.
• Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Collaborative attitude and teamwork personality.
• Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role.
• Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy.
• Up to 50% travel will be required.

Physical Abilities:

• Must be able to move objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles for support over time without fatigue.
• Constant movement and use of limbs; good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
• Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push, and pull.
• Must be able to lift 40-60 lbs.
• Other physical requirements as needed for the job.
