Inventory Analyst

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Balancing and closing of work orders for all work centers (could stay w/ Kim for now to free up cycle counting time but should probably be learned by new applicant).
• Balance steel after each rolling
• Monitor all scanning of tags at all work centers
• Monitor adjustments to SAP (via daily production / plant transfers)
• Assist claims dept (shipping errors / returns)
• Assist QA/QC depts (MTRs info; downgrade/upgrade products)
• Assist Lab (tensile / heat info)
• Help train new scanners (ex. Pettibone helpers)
• Assist Prod Planning for inventory discrepancies / work order confirmations
• Knowledge of MES and SAP
• Perform daily / weekly cycle counts of pipe and steel both inside the facility and outside in the material yard
• Receipts of daily skelp and zinc
• Record all transfer deliveries plant to plant and from outside vendors
• Downgrade of rejects
• Prepare for yearly physical inventories at Wheatland, Pa and Warren, Oh locations

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Minimum of 1 years’ work experience in a similarly situated inventory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Operational Technology / Industrial Control Networks and OT Security preferred
• Knowledge of MES and SAP strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience in inventory analysis and management preferred
• Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role
• Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
