Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

As part of the Team, recruits and provides onboarding support to the Talent Acquisition Department to ensure compliance with the organization hiring protocols and processes. Supports the recruiting strategies for industry-related positions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates requisition process from approved requisition status.
  • Initiates background check, onboarding, and candidate engagement process.
  • Partners with other departments to support recruiting efforts. Participates in community outreach events, job fairs and networking activities to enhance candidates’ diversity and military recruiting.
  • Evaluates resumes, cover letters, and job applications.
  • Conducts phone interviews, coordinates interviews for hiring managers, and supports recruiters with scheduling.
  • Updates weekly staffing reports/metrics: tracks and analyzes reporting data to make recommendations on best practices and processes.
  • Works with local HR team to coordinate new hire start dates.
  • Provides miscellaneous support for iCIMS and other platforms utilized by the team.
  • Develops ideas and strategies to build qualified talent pipelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.
  • Regular and predictable, full-time, on-site attendance during scheduled hours.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree, Business Management, Human Resources, or other related area
  • 2-5 years of experience coordinating and supporting recruiting activities - preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry. 
  • Ability to handle high-volume requisitions

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Basic knowledge of Applicant Tracking System, iCIMS
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to take and follow through directions given, yet to be a strategic thinker
  • Ability to build relationships and make decisions
  • Must be a team player
