Production Analyst Intern - Summer 2025

Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Production Analyst Intern for our location in Harrow, ON. Reporting to the Director of Production Planning, this person you will work closely with the Production Planning Team. Becoming a production analyst means having a positive attitude and an internal drive to be successful. Production analyst will have excellent interpersonal skills and should have the ability to remain calm under stressful situations while performing multiple tasks.   

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Analyzes and manages the internal transfer process. 
• Maintains, tracks, and controls internal stock targets, including providing recommendations for improvement. 
• Monitors production schedules approaching planned capacity and reports to the team on opportunities to take on additional business while keeping mills on schedule. 
• Assists with downstream operations and identifies improvement opportunities. 
• Supports other projects and analyses as needed (e.g., APO, Cognos/Watson training and reporting). 
• Ensures that needs are well-communicated both verbally and in written documentation, providing all parties involved with a clear understanding. 
• Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.  
• Performs other duties as they might be assigned. 
• Regular, full-time predictable onsite attendance is an essential function of this role OR Adherence to the hybrid work policy with consistent on-site attendance as required 

REQUIREMENTS 

• Pursing degree in business administration, or related field 
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to travel to Internship Summit, hosted at one of our Zekelman Industries’ locations
