PVC Fence Sales Manager

Job Summary:

Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a PVC Fence Product/Sales Manager for our facility located in Richmond, KY. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Product/Sales Manager will be the primary point of contact for PVC Fence Sales.

Responsibilities:

• Drive sales and develop new customers
• Promote Wheatland/Maverick as a market leader in providing quality PVC Fence solutions
• Be a premier PVC Fence specialist that customers look to for guidance on product questions and support
• Manage customer relationships and expectations
• Manage customer pricing levels
• Develop and manage sales forecasts – volume and price
• Understand plant production schedules, capabilities and capacity
• Manage the order book to maximize production and shipments

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of extrusions and PVC Fence specifically
• 5+ years of PVC Fence Sales experience
• Post-secondary degree with studies in business, accounting, or finance preferred
• Familiarity with Business ERP System(s) is preferred (i.e. SAP )
• Ability to communicate effectively with teammates and customers
• Ability to travel to customer locations and job sites as needed
• Strong motivational and leadership skills
• Detailed orientated and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent mathematical aptitude
• Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy.
