Position Description:  Basic functions of tooling set-up and repair. Tooling attendants work independently or with production to performproper tooling, set-up, and scheduling. Work in conjunction with mill changeovers and assist production personnel whenneeded. Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman, is responsible for the safe repair and rebuild of tube mill production equipment to maximize quality, uptime, rate and yield. Requires a high aptitude regarding mechanical ability, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills regarding equipment operation, process conditions in order to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.   Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the process, equipment, controls and storeroom areas - Ensure equipment is maintained mechanically following all defined safety procedures and that everyone working on the equipment is following these procedures, including LOTO.    POSITION DESCRIPTION:   The Slitter Operator leads the slitting team members in successfully accomplishingmaximum coil output in compliance with company safety policies and OSHA safety guidelines. Employs quality control measures in set ups, proper material being processed, and ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete.    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:   - Operate the Slitter with complete understanding of safety and quality procedures for this position and related functions. - Reference master coil tags to ensure proper material is being slit. - Lead slitter crew to process maximum amount of coil. - Complete change overs efficiently, ensuring set ups are correct using feeler gauge to check clearance between knives and micrometers to measure strip widths.  - Comply with company policies and OSHA guidelines affecting machine operations, such as but not limited to Lock Out/Tag Out.  - Maintainaccurate quality records and coil paperwork, complete required paperwork to be turned in daily for production accountability.  - Visually inspect the quality of split edges.  - Recommend a regular maintenance schedule for the slitter.   POSITION DESCRIPTION:   Position requires supplying materials needed to run the Slitter. Precise attention to detail is an absolute must to be successful in this position. Must have completed all safety, equipment, OJT, JSA and overhead crane training and certification on all equipment used to perform essential duties.     PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:   - Ensures mill bay has enough /all the raw material needed for the size currently running.  - Loads and unloads slitter in a timely manner, keeping up with operations.  - Assists slitter crew during changeover.  - Maintains and sorts coil inventory in an organized manner.  - Separates heat numbers together within permitted bay area. Per diem will be provided for any required overnight accommodation. JOB SUMMARY Under limited supervision, performs various welding duties throughout the plant.   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy. - Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. - Operates safety equipment and use safe work habits. - Lays out, positions, aligns, and secures parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers. - Examines workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. - Welds separately or in combination, using aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, and other alloys. - Clamps, holds, tack-welds, heat-bends, grinds, or bolts component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding. - Ignites torches or starts power supplies and strike arcs by touching electrodes to metals being welded, completing electrical circuits. - Determines required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques. - Monitors the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material. - Operates manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding. - Analyzes more complex engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations. - Marks or tags material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required. - Removes rough spots from workpieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers. - Develops templates and models for welding projects, using mathematical calculations based on blueprint information. - Positions and secures workpieces, using hoists, cranes, wire, and banding machines or hand tools. - Operates metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines, such as brakes and shears. - Sets up and uses ladders and scaffolding as necessary to complete work. - Uses fire suppression methods in industrial emergencies. - Estimates materials needed for production and manufacturing and maintains required stocks of materials. - Performs daily crane/mobile equipment inspections. - Regular, full-time predictable onsite attendance is an essential function of this role. JOB SUMMARY Acts as a user / client / site construction managers / manufacturer point of contact. Oversees timing, materials supply levels, punch lists, and completions, on a plant and site levels Coordinates inventory and materials documentation within the modular scope to ensure timely completion at plant level.
