An immediate full-time position is available for a Coordinator/Document Controller with experience in construction operations for residential building design. This position requires the candidate to report to Project Managers and the Director of Design and follow a standard document control SOP. The candidate must be skilled with a construction administration system, such as ProCore, and to submit and track RFIs and Shop Drawings during the design stage within the Design Department of Z Modular.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in modular construction, automated fabrication systems, parametric design software, and developing alternative approaches to the design and construction industry. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Finance Manager lead the US team on the critical day to day activities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the monthly financial close process as necessary including journal entry prep and/or approvals
- Produce daily/weekly/monthly analytical reports detailing key performance indicators of the business including revenue, cost, profitability, and working capital
- Calculate monthly sales commission/incentive payments and related accruals.
- Lead the quarterly / Annual Audits for the US team
- Complete assigned monthly account reconciliations.

- Welds HSS to block cast alloy
- GMAW .045 (MIG) solid bare wire used to weld in all positions 2G, 3G, and 4G. Overhead, vertical and horizontal
- Fabricates or repairs products according to blueprints, weld symbols, layouts, or work orders by welding metal components together

This role is responsible for the safe repair and rebuild of production equipment to maximize quality, up time, rate and yield. Requires high aptitude in regards electrical ability, troubleshooting and problem solving skills in regard to equipment operation, process conditions in order to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure equipment is maintained electrically following all of the defined safety procedures and that everyone working on the equipment is following these procedures, including LOTO. Ensure that all guards and safety equipment is in place and operational before turning the equipment over to the operator.
- Responsible to monitor, inspect and complete reports on equipment using manual and computerized maintenance management systems.
- Read and interpret information and specifications from blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings in order to repair equipment, machinery, physical structures and systems.
- Ability to properly use required hand tools, power tools, hoists cranes, measuring devices and testing equipment.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, this person will oversee the implementation of the plant’s maintenance program and be responsible for identifying what parts of the plant’s facilities are in need of additional work and necessary improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement the plant’s overall preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Responsible for the department budget
- Keep records of equipment failures and provides needed information and data to the Plant Manager
- Plan and assist plant engineering with new or modified installations to insure safety and improved production capabilities
- Determine and recommend whether existing machinery/equipment components are to be reconditioned or replaced by new components

- Doc Control: Design and oversee Document Control processes from design to fabrication
- Cloud storage: System Administrator for Dropbox, Sharepoint, PDM and BIM360
- SOP: Create and manage on-going standard operation procedures for team
- Presentation: Assist in presenations to new owners and design teams, including travel
- Design Eng: Travel to plants to review module fabrication meets details and code
- HR: Assist in review and interview of potential employees
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Experience: 10 years in construction/architectural design
- Degree: University education in related field
- Solidworks: Minimum 8 years, with Advanced and certified SolidWorks professional
- Software: 3D modelling in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project experience preferred
- Management: Experience managing both teams and projects
- Communication: Managing information flow between owners, design team & in-house teams
- Detailing: Advanced expertise in steel and building details

Z Modular is seeking a Design BIM Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the BIM management and processes for the company, including Revit standards and processes. The ideal candidate will initiate innovative solutions to increase efficiency in design and production, including creating custom parametric families and output to SAP and robotic systems. The candidate will work closely with our in-house Architect/Engineersin residential design, and must be skilled with design documents. Ideally have a passion for modular construction, automated fabrication systems and parametric design.

Z Modular is seeking an Architectural Revit Designer with experience in the design and modeling of modular residential buildings. This position requires the candidate to work with the in-house design team to model architectural designs and details. The candidate must be highly skilled in the interpretation of building design documents, the development of construction documents and building science. The ideal candidate will have an interest in modular construction, automated fabrication systems, parametric design software, and developing alternative approaches to the design and construction industry.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lab Technician position will assist and provide support to the Zekelman Industries Technical Team at the Church Street Facility. The position will be scheduled around the candidate’s class schedule, but will include weekend hours. Average weekly hours during the school semester will be approximately twenty-five with a potential of more hours during school breaks.

Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Laboratory Manager for our facility located in Wheatland, PA. Reporting to the Director of Technical Services, the Lab Manager will be responsible for ensuring coordination of all lab related activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and Schedule the work for the Lab Techs
- Monitor daily process control report and make adjustments as required to the processes
- Schedule and monitor the Tensile Management program to ensure ASTM requirements for sampling, testing and ultimately the product requirements are met
- Advise and assist all Corporate and Division Lab projects + testing as needed
- Advise and assist all Corporate OSHA industrial hygiene testing and reports as needed
- Work with the safety department to /maintain Council Ave SDS program
- Maintain operation and certification of all Laboratory equipment.
- Order all Lab Chemical’s and Misc Supplies.
- Maintain and operate confined space equipment and crane monitors for plant safety programs.
- Coordinate special projects directed from Director of Technical services.
- Coordinate testing of customer product claims and customer sample requests.
- Coordinate testing of incoming raw material product.
- Monitor and report to Environemental Dept the DEP permit requirements for plant-wide paint and VOC consumption.
- Coordinate 3rd party audits of product and order labels for these product listings/certifcations
- Maintain Laboratory procedures and training to meet ISO 9001:2015 requirements
- Maintain Logs on Paint / VOC’s / Raw Acid / B10 usage and order galv shop chemicals
- Participate in continuous improvement and yield projects
- Support the quality objectives of the plant
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of Associate’s with Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of five years of experience in a lab environment
- A strong team player is necessary with the ability to coordinate efforts of many individuals internal and external to the organization
- Sound decision-making ability, computational, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite
- Supervisory experience required
