  Z-Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Plumber for our location in Kitchener, ON. This position will perform various plumbing duties throughout the plant.   RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assemble, install, and repair pipes, appliances, and fixtures - Read and interpret blueprints - Complete calculations and measurement to ensure pipes function correctly - Supervise and complete installation of plumbing equipment - Troubleshoot issues on equipment - Follow all established safety procedures - Other duties as assigned EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - The ideal candidate for the Plumber position will possess a High school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years of experience, and be a certified Journeyman Plumber   SKILLS/ABILITIES: - Ability to work unsupervised - Knowledge and usage of measuring and testing devices, hand and power tools - Knowledge of local codes and laws - Basic math abilities - Mechanical aptitude - Ability to read and interpret blueprints - Strong problem solving, communication and organizational skills - Legally eligible to work in Canada   PHYSICAL ABILITIES: - Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Z-Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Millwright for our location in Kitchener, ON. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Millwright is responsible for performing mechanical related maintenance in all areas of the plant.   RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform mechanical related maintenance in all areas of the Plant including pumps, welding, cutting and overall mechanical duties. - Inspects machinery or equipment and makes any necessary adjustments, performs any required maintenance or makes whatever repairs are required. This may involve the complete disassembly and reassembly of any and all mill machinery and equipment and includes all work necessary to return the machinery or equipment to satisfactory operating conditions. - Reads, comprehends and uses as a guide any applicable drawings, equipment manufacturers' manuals, written specifications, codes, handbooks, etc. - Perform Preventive & Predictive maintenance on mechanical equipment as directed. - Maintains any required records or logs concerning maintenance and repair work performed. Z Modular, a division of Zekelma, seeks an Electrician for our plant.  This role is responsible for performing various electrical duties throughout the plant RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assessing the workspace and work required to ensure the work is performed in the safest manner - Read and understand engineering drawings and specifications to assemble components or systems - Ensure equipment is maintained electrically following all of the defined safety procedures and that everyone working on the equipment is following these procedures, including LOTO. Ensure that all guards and safety equipment is in place and operational before turning the equipment over to the operator. - Ability to properly use required hand tools, power tools, hoists cranes, measuring devices and testing equipment. - Initiates troubleshooting techniques to solve quality, process and electrical problems. Must be able to properly identify problem areas with consistency and reliability, if unsuccessful in making repairs, must notify supervisor for assistance. - Responsible to ensure housekeeping is in audit ready condition after the electrical task is completed. - Provide guidance to co-workers. - Report any safety, quality, operational or output issues that you cannot correct to your supervisor. - Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.   REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: - High school diploma or equivalent - Ability to communicate in English, use measuring and testing devices, hand and power tools and basic math calculations - Mechanical aptitude necessary for fulfillment of job requirements - Must be able to interface with computers and efficient at problem solving - Must possess a current 309A or 442A ticket - Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role
