Reporting to the Maintenance Manager. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing/light industrial setting.   RESPONSIBILITES: - Promote and enforce a safe, healthy work environment and work practices in accordance with OSHA and Company safety policies and procedures such as LOTO & Arc Flash. - Perform reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment. Identify necessary parts and materials per specifications. The mill crane operator is responsible for operating overhead C hook and dual trolley cranes to support operations of the mill. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Follow workplace safety practices set forth by Atlas Tube Inc. Zekelman Industries seeks a Senior Staff Accountant.  Reporting to the Finance Manager - US, the Sr. Staff Accountant will assist Finance Manager in all routine accounting activities.  This role is ideally home based in Blytheville, AR, however, will consider Chicago, IL with willingness to travel regularly to Arkansas. This role will lead Blytheville plant on a day-to-day basis as well as monitor inventory valuation for the entire division. RESPONSIBILITIES:   - Complete monthly financial close process, including analytics, commentary and reporting for assigned companies, data entry of all journal entries for all companies - Track and review steel receipts to monitor daily steel cost compared to consumption cost - Calculate annual cost standards for inventory valuation purposes - Understand and monitor the buildup of product cost across the full spectrum of inventory from raw material to finished goods to ensure system calculations are accurate - Prepare calculation and analysis for standard to actual inventory variance - Manage scrap processing errors within SAP - Monitor inventory reports regularly for items with MAP outside of expectations, looking for UoM or costing errors - Prepare any intercompany cross charges for all assigned companies, ensuring ledger is properly cleared in all currencies - Coordinate quarterly stockroom reserve for all assigned company operations - Complete assigned monthly account reconciliations. - Complete Concur monthly journal entries and account reconciliations details for all assigned companies - Prepare and issue weekly spending reports to assigned company operations - Complete yield analysis as required for all assigned company operations - Develop process and maintain records for monthly internal audit of cycle count process for stockrooms, ensuring no audit issues upon review - Prepare quarterly forecast updates for assigned companies - Coordinate the annual budget process for assigned companies and assist with consolidations as required - Support the annual external audit as required with specific additional focus on inventory analysis - Prepare quarterly financial disclosure roll-forwards for review and submission to corporate - Review cost savings initiatives for financial benefits - Adhoc reporting as required - Meet all required due dates with completeness and accuracy. - Perform other duties as assigned.     QUALIFICATIONS: - College/University graduate with 5+ years experience with general ledger accounting, closing, and manufacturing. Ability to communicate with management at all levels in a professional manner and have good writing skills to summarize findings. Some travel is required – must be able to travel to Canada. Job Locations US-AZ-Chandler
    Z-Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Construction Manager (CM) for our location in Z-Modular in Chandler, AZ. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this person will supervise a multitude of direct reports. The CM will coordinate sections of the plant construction floor. These areas include and are not limited to framing, gypsum installation, steel cutting, texturing, ceramic installation, floor installation, MEP installation, and final finish areas of work.  This will then interact with shipping and storage as part of the overall focus. These areas could change as we execute our work from week to week and project to project.   Construction Managers determine the resources required for each aspect of the project, such as equipment or tooling needed, materials, and labor, assessing each of these for budget limitations. They make sure that the equipment and materials are acquired on time and check stock levels regularly to make sure anything that’s running low can be reordered.   RESPONSIBILITIES: - Construction Managers, plan, coordinate, and supervise the construction of commercial projects from start to finish. - Monitor the construction process to ensure the project is completed to schedule. - Assure supply needs are met at each delivery point on line - Assure off-line sequencing is handled in a timely and perfected manner. - Work full-time but may need to work additional hours to respond to delays, emergencies, or suppliers - 95% of time is on the construction site, monitoring team members, work flow, and quality and speed of construction. - Organize team members to build and allocate responsibilities and tasks to them and other staff to ensure the project is completed efficiently. - Prepare detailed reports for key stakeholders that outline the successes as well as any issues that arose throughout the development of the building. - Work safely following workplace safety practices set forth by Z-Modular & OSHA - Review daily operating reports and report operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues and shift events to superiors to prevent operational delays - Troubleshoot operational and tooling problems to improve quality and efficiency - Build and maintain a positive team-oriented environment amongst production personnel - Discipline team members in coordination with plant management and Human Resources - Obtain and/or demonstrate immediate medical treatment for all injuries - Notify appropriate management and enter required events (accidents, injuries, incidents) into Intelex Balancing Skills– Construction managers are skilled at negotiating and directing team members; whether it’s time on-line, supply and preparation off-line, reviewing quality or speed of work flow, or  managing talent within the plant each day.
