RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop a catalog of subcontractors in each trade that meet Z Mod standards - Pre qual subcontractors for Project Managers  - Create a sub list that is sufficiently deep with trades for each scope - Manage bid Process through Building Connected and Procore - Leading up to bid time – hold preconstruction meetings and walk throughs with trades – include site construction team as applicable. - Update current, create new, and update bid scopes for each product line and site. - Scope trade bids as submitted. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Construction Manager will supervise a multitude of direct reports. The CM will coordinate sections of the plant construction floor. These areas include and are not limited to framing, gypsum installation, steel cutting, texturing, ceramic installation, floor installation, MEP installation, and final finish areas of work.  This will then interact with shipping and storage as part of the overall focus. These areas could change as we execute our work from week to week and project to project. The Controls Engineer shall be well versed in the field of electrical theory and control systems. Wiring of machines and machining cells, debugging software, executing system shake downs/changes and making backups after testing are the major fields of application.    This person should be able to work in teams, as well as independently, report and track status as well as understand the mechanics and functionality of machining systems mostly in the automotive industry. Must have experience of Siemens control systems, PLC’s and Servo controls, and a good understanding of how other systems are integrated and controlled from PLC. Experience with programming robots and vision systems is an asset and the willingness to go the extra mile are key skills for this exciting and challenging role.    REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:  Mechatronics technician and or a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of experience or equivalent work experience in the field required.
