JOB SUMMARY Acts as a user / client / site construction managers / manufacturer point of contact. Oversees timing, materials supply levels, punch lists, and completions, on a plant and site levels Coordinates inventory and materials documentation within the modular scope to ensure timely completion at plant level. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - - Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy. - Works with Customer Completion Specialists (CCS), data keepers, reviewers, and inspectors of multiple project-specific interface tasks to track project progress from manufacturing to apartments at site. Monitors inspection of the galvanization process, including all stages from start to finish to ensure seamless  process stages flow - Assesses design and manufacturing work issues for “one touch” flow of work, identifies areas for upgrades for "in-plant" manufacturing through potential "on-site" repair over time. Oversees new product prototyping by conducting a joint review by plant and product teams to ensure the final "plant and site" punch lists are well-matched and -coordinated’ expedites resolution of proper change management for best quality and compliance with financial parameters according to the “User” Customer and Owner. Documents material needs to avoid potential shortages; identifies 'ready to ship' modules. - Compiles and distributes punch lists of acceptable 'ready to ship' modules versus modules that may not be ready due to material shortages, workflow, or incomplete installation. Monitor punch list items completion for Final User.  - Participates and leads process and product improvement meetings to connect process points to quantify / qualify total costs to discuss and present to Controllers. - Assists with project planning for approval by management to ensure production synergy across sites and plants. - Immense communication and collaboration with the plants, operators, and sites regarding the status of modules shipping on a project-to-project basis.   Wheatland tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks an Electrician/Controls Specialist for our facility based in Rochelle, IL.  Reporting to the Plant Manager, this Electrician/Controls Specialist will be responsible for improving designs of existing machinery and facilities under direction of the Plant Manager.  This individual will assist in the development, design and completion of capital projects; create methods and machinery for continuous improvement within the plant.  They will lead the strategic electrical projects for reliability, cost savings, quality, and safety in addition to maintaining plant software and backups for MES and PLC systems.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   - Monitor Plant systems, analyze performance, and initiate action for optimization to achieve Plant goals for safety, productivity, and cost effectiveness. - Study conditions at site and work with others as necessary to gather data and pertinent information for upcoming projects. - Perform custom PLC & Drive programming for Allen Bradley, SAF and Rexroth Components - Address safety issues in a timely fashion with regard to mill hazards, electrical issues and programming. - Assist with specification and integration of control devices such as PLCs, sensors, transmitters, transducers, relays, VFDs, operator interface devices etc. - Prepare bills of material, purchase requisitions, as built drawings and specifications to complete assignments to be approved by the Maintenance Manager. - Assist (lead as required) site employees and/or contractors during construction, verification, and start-up. - Review project related proposals, RFQ’s and bids from suppliers; and make recommendations to the Maintenance Manager. - Work with maintenance and operations to solve equipment problems. - Maintain, monitor, and improve production control equipment (PLC’s, Drives, etc.….) plant wide. - Manage records regarding all system software changes and communicate any changes to affected employees - Shift work as required. - Strong working knowledge of ESA Code - Preform other duties as assigned   REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:   - 309A – Construction Maintenance Electrician License - 5 years full time experience - Excellent interpersonal skills and written ability - Strong leadership and troubleshooting skills - Ability to work with AutoCad to create & modify drawings and strong ability to read prints - Strong computer skills - Strong PLC ability (Allen Bradly) and HMI experience (PanelView/Wonderware). - Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role - Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy

Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Pre-Construction Manager to oversee the construction of our projects.  Reporting to General Manager - Projects, the Pre-Construction Manager is responsible for the coordination of all post design/pre break ground activities within the total project scope, as well as ensuring frequent progress communication with clients, internal and external.  The Pre-Construction Manager plans, directs and coordinates all activities concerned with the trade qualifications, bidding, and activities leading up to mobilizing on one of our Z Modular projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop a catalog of subcontractors in each trade that meet Z Mod standards - Pre qual subcontractors for Project Managers  - Create a sub list that is sufficiently deep with trades for each scope - Manage bid Process through Building Connected and Procore - Leading up to bid time – hold preconstruction meetings and walk throughs with trades – include site construction team as applicable. - Update current, create new, and update bid scopes for each product line and site. - Scope trade bids as submitted. Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Construction Manager for our facility located in Killeen, Texas. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Construction Manager will supervise a multitude of direct reports. The CM will coordinate sections of the plant construction floor. These areas include and are not limited to framing, gypsum installation, steel cutting, texturing, ceramic installation, floor installation, MEP installation, and final finish areas of work.  This will then interact with shipping and storage as part of the overall focus. These areas could change as we execute our work from week to week and project to project.
