The Senior Site Superintendent will provide leadership and management to on-site construction teams, ensuring quality standards are met, and projects are completed on time and within budget. Z Modular is looking for a self-motivated Director of Engineering for our Troy, MI office.  This position will report to the Vice President of Engineering, Research & Development.  We are looking for someone who is highly detailed-oriented, thorough, analytical, and a good manager of people. The successful applicant will direct and supervise Engineers, perform technical design work, and provide oversight and coordination with other groups within the company. This position involves participation in project meetings and client meetings.  Some travel to plants and other offices will be required. As the Director of Engineering you will lead the structural design of steel modular buildings.  You will oversee the development of structural details to conform to our production standards.  You will develop standard operating procedures for the engineering department including the MEP design team.
