  Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Project Engineer to oversee the communications and documentation of our modular units.  Reporting to the Project Manager, Project Engineer is responsible for the coordination of construction submittals and request for information documentation within the modular scope, as well as ensuring frequent progress communication with customers.  The Project Engineer will work with the Project Managers and be assigned tasks set by them as needed.   Responsibilities: - Primarily function as data keeper of project specific tasks. Control submittal approvals, RFI management, day to day correspondence. - Assist with material procurement, inventory and confirmation of materials on hand prior to production according to approved submittals. - Assist with, scheduling, budgeting and implementation of the project - Assist with the preparation of the schedule of values - Assist with project planning for approval by management - Assist with the preparation of project schedules with input from project staff and, if required, assistance from the Scheduling Department - Assist with change orders with client, architects and engineers - Complete all required reports - Assist with preparation of all Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, requisitions, proposals, etc. - Attend weekly OAC coordination meetings/calls. - Other duties as assignment by management. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this individual will be responsible for processing the hourly and salary payroll.  The successful candidate will ensure timely preparation and accurate cost distribution of Company salaries, overhead, and related benefits in compliance with appropriate federal and state withholding regulations and in accordance with the Company’s internal controls.  This individual will administer all functions of the time and attendance system to ensure correct data is going to the HRIS system.   RESPONSIBILITIES:   Ensure timely and accurate preparation of payroll operations and works closely with the Human Resources department to ensure that payroll actions are in conformance with employment and benefits practices, and accounting procedures: - Handle all production entry into the time and attendance system to ensure accurate calculations of all pay, including incentive plans - Review timecards for accuracy and completeness - Review all federal and state payroll tax reports for accuracy, including quarterly and year-end returns; determines taxability of non-wage payments. - Interpret Company employment policies and government regulations for payroll activities and makes recommendations on modifications to management as appropriate - Maintain all payroll records, reports, computations and audits; works closely with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and government regulations - Interface routinely with Human Resources on employee benefits issues (deductions, retirement payments, COBRA, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate processing - Provide periodic analysis of payroll and disbursement records to ensure that adjustments are in accord with management's criteria - Effectively communicate with all internal and external contacts to resolve issues in conformance with law, payroll policy, and procedure. Primary activities include triaging and resolution of support and enhancement requests for internal customers in multiple SAP ECC 6.0 instances across multiple business units and functions. Policy - Follow verbal and written instructions - Work from rolling schedules and/or Tooling Coordinators instructions to ensure that proper rolls and production tooling are set up for upcoming size changes - Grease/lubricate roll setup before sending to the mill - Check for bad bearings – report to Maintenance or Tooling Coordinator - Store rolls properly - Assist other operators in the facility when required during breakdowns, bottlenecks, and scheduled downtime - Empty all scrap buckets - Keep work area and/or equipment clean and in a safe condition - Wipe down rolls & spacers and visually inspect them for defects - Report any tooling defects to tooling coordinator - Perform daily crane/hi-lo inspections and report any deficiencies - Operate overhead crane and hi-lo as required - Report any irregularities or malfunctions to managers and/or maintenance - Maintain a clean and safe work area   QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma/GED - Overhead Crane License - Basic Math Skills - Mechanical Experience - Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role - Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy Zekelman Industries offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including low cost, high quality medical and dental benefits.  In addition, we have an amazing tuition assistance program, a bonus plan, a 401(k) plan with a generous company match, immediate vesting and much more.
