They will operate individual equipment on the mill, including the coil crane, butt welder, cutoff saw, bundler, table, and/or offline. Z Modular is looking for a self-motivated Director of Engineering for our Troy, MI office.  This position will report to the Vice President of Engineering, Research & Development.  We are looking for someone who is highly detailed-oriented, thorough, analytical, and a good manager of people. The successful applicant will direct and supervise Engineers, perform technical design work, and provide oversight and coordination with other groups within the company. This position involves participation in project meetings and client meetings.  Some travel to plants and other offices will be required. As the Director of Engineering you will lead the structural design of steel modular buildings.  You will oversee the development of structural details to conform to our production standards.  You will develop standard operating procedures for the engineering department including the MEP design team. The Site Superintendent will be responsible for orderliness on site and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This candidate will ensure quality standards are met, and all equipment and materials are always available. To ensure success, projects should be completed on time and within budget. Never compromise on quality.   Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Plant Project Engineer to oversee the communications and documentation of our modular units.  Reporting to the Plant Project Manager, Plant Project Engineer is responsible for the coordination of construction submittals and request for information documentation within the modular scope, as well as ensuring frequent progress communication with customers.  The Plant Project Engineer will work with the Plant Project Managers and be assigned tasks set by them as needed.   Responsibilities: - Primarily function as data keeper of project specific tasks.
