Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is looking for Mill Set-up based at our plant in Plymouth, Michigan. This position reports to the tooling coordinastor and production supervisor. Mill Set-up is responsible for assembling and setting up offline production tooling for upcoming sizes. This position is also responsible for inspecting tooling for damage/wear and reporting the findings.    RESPONSIBILITIES:  - Follow workplace safety practices set forth by Atlas Tube Inc. They will operate individual equipment on the mill, including the coil crane, butt welder, cutoff saw, bundler, table, and/or offline. Primary activities include triaging and resolution of support and enhancement requests for internal customers in multiple SAP ECC 6.0 instances across multiple business units and functions.     Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Product Analyst for our facility located in Killeen, TX. The Product Analyst will perform various Product-related functions in an organization. This employee plans a budget and ensures Product-effective operations for a project and plant for the company's overall business model. Job duties include using production, warehousing, and financial track information to create a product cost baseline for manufacturing on all models and iterations of models. The focus will be to understand each material and the counts for that specific materials as it is built into the module on a daily basis.   RESPONSIBILITES: - Collect and analyze information to determine Products of business activities such as the use and installation of raw materials, labor use for production, and Product differences contrast between differing modules and facilities production. - Discern different methods for the same installation of materials in modules; it is possible to have 3 different means of material usage within the modules. - Record accurate Product data for prototype base and options. This includes a physical count of each room as it moves from station to station. - Audit existing Product of modules on a daily timely basis. This includes doing a physical count of home as it rolls thru each station. - Assist with physical inventory preparation, implementation, and reconciliation. Includes a physical count of all modules that are in the process of being built inside the manufacturing facility and when needed outside for the rework given current macro-economic conditions. - Make analysis of collected information as well as keep records of findings and results specific to product costs and usage of inventories. - Analyze changes on the methods of production, goods and services provided, and raw materials to know how they affect finished goods Product. - Produce the documentation of data for daily reporting disciplines, operating reviews and quarterly reports. - Identify possible opportunities for improving the efficiency of production with the main aim of increasing efficiencies, effectiveness and growing profits. - Compare material submittal data and labor hour data for specific categories of production with site built of similar categories of construction through RS Means, past plant specific productions, and any other fact data available. - Product analysis of projects: This includes but is not limited to estimated material consumption VS actual material consumption, labor hours, and overhead. - Capture any shortfalls that occur during the life span of projects. This is a non-bargaining unit position.   RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manages the workforce in a manner that promotes safety and health - Produces high quality products through maximizing the use of all resources - Ensures attainment of planned production goals - Ensures all ISO quality standards and process procedures are maintained - Controls scrap generated during production - Ensures adherence/execution of labor agreement in decision making - Involves the work force in developing improvements - Achieves cost improvement goals through optimizing labor productivity and expense control - Maintains and continuously improves areas, which impact on Team Member safety - Administers a progressive discipline program for Team Members in accordance with Company policy - Ensures that proper training is given to all employees - Employs a team building technique while managing the business - Ensures that employees are aware of their performance levels through regular communications as well as annual on time formal appraisals - Develops and maintains key performance indicators - Quickly adapts self and team to changes brought about by modernization - Develops back up personnel for all key positions - Ensures inventory transactions are correctly done on time and satisfy Company objectives - Makes sure inventory variances are properly adjusted - Ensures all paperwork is accurate and turned in daily - Responsible for special projects as assigned - Other duties as assigned by Management QUALIFICATIONS: - 2-4-year degree in a related field preferred. Exceptions may be made for individuals with process knowledge and workforce management background - High School Diploma or GED equivalent required - Proven leadership skills - 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility - Possesses good communications skills, verbal and written - Able to apply various numerical analytical problem-solving methods - Computer experience required - Must exhibit enthusiasm, maintain a positive attitude and a professional image - Must be able to interface with computers and efficient at problem solving - Ability to pass hair follicle drug/physical/background check - Legally authorized to work in the US - Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role - Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy PHYSICAL ABILITIES: - Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds - Must be able to walk or stand at least 80% of shift.   Zekelman Industries offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including low cost, high quality medical and dental benefits.  In addition, we have an amazing tuition assistance program, a bonus plan, a 401(k) plan with a generous company match, immediate vesting and much more.   M/F/D/V
