Requires high aptitude in regards mechanical ability, troubleshooting and problem solving skills in regard to equipment operation, process conditions in order to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.     RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensure equipment is maintained mechanically following all of the defined safety procedures and that everyone working on the equipment is following these procedures, including LOTO.  Ensure that all guards and safety equipment is in place and operational before turning the equipment over to the operator. - Responsible to monitor, inspect and complete reports on equipment using manual and computerized maintenance management systems. - Read and interpret information and specifications from blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings in order to repair equipment, machinery, physical structures and systems. - Ability to properly use required hand tools, power tools, hoists cranes, measuring devices and testing equipment. - Initiates troubleshooting techniques to solve quality, process and mechanical problems.  Must be able to properly identify problem areas with consistency and reliability, if unsuccessful in making repairs, must notify supervisor for assistance. - Perform all required mechanical tasks associated with breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance and changeovers on production equipment. - Responsible to insure housekeeping is in audit ready condition after the mechanical task is completed. - Provides guidance co-workers. - Report any safety, quality, operational or output issues that you cannot correct to your supervisor - Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Installs, services and repairs lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets and wiring. - Operates power hand tools and other specialized electrical equipment. - Installs, repairs and services specialized electrical equipment and machinery. - Constructs and maintains service equipment. - Reads electrical circuit diagrams. - Transfers primary power from one power source to another. - Installs conductors, splices cable, builds terminations and does necessary hook-up for primary power lines. - May do other trades work incidental to electrical work. - Monitor all power houses, keep record of safety and Code compliance   QUALIFICATIONS: - Installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of single and three phase power distribution & equipment to 480V, plant lighting, single and multiphase AC and DC motors from fractional to 300HP, AC/DC solid state and conventional motor control, PLCs, DCS, combustion controls, power and control cable and conduit, electrical and electronic instrumentation including devices such as thermocouples, pressure, flow, level and force transducers. - Ability to interpret power and control electrical/electronic schematics, interconnection wiring and control drawings and utilize various electrical and electronic test equipment. Wiring of machines and machining cells, debugging software, executing system shake downs/changes and making backups after testing are the major fields of application.   This person should be able to work in teams, as well as independently, report and track status as well as understand the mechanics and functionality of machining systems mostly in the automotive industry. Must have experience of Siemens control systems, PLC’s and Servo controls, and a good understanding of how other systems are integrated and controlled from PLC. Experience with programming robots and vision systems is an asset and the willingness to go the extra mile are key skills for this exciting and challenging role.   REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:   Mechatronics technician and or a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of experience or equivalent work experience in the field required. Reporting to the Plant Manager and Shipping Foreman. The shipper is responsible for the proper loading of trucks with bundles of steel tubing. RESPONSIBILITES: - Plans for the safe loading of material for outbound shipments - Utilizes FIFO method when moving bundles - Scans all bundles moved in the warehouse - Removal of flash/scarf from bundles as needed - Reworking of bundles as needed - Perform daily crane/hi-lo inspections and report any deficiencies - Operate overhead crane and hi-lo as required - Report any irregularities or malfunctions to managers and/or maintenance - Maintain a clean and safe work area - Other duties as required QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma/GED - Overhead Crane License preferred - Manufacturing experience preferred - Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role - Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy PHYSICAL ABILITIES: - Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. This position requires the candidate to report to Project Managers and the Office Director and follow a standard document control SOP.
