This position will perform installation of new HVAC systems for all modular construction projects.   RESPONSIBILITIES: - Complete all HVAC system installations efficiently and accurately within a manufacturing plant environment. - Maintain a clean, organized work cell and participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and technical vendor training. - Initiates troubleshooting techniques to solve quality, process and HVAC problems. This position would report to the Director of Engineering.  We are looking for someone who is highly detailed-oriented, thorough, and self-motivated. As a Drafter, you will use Revit to produce drawings for a variety of projects. The successful applicant will direct and supervise Engineers, perform technical design work, and provide oversight and coordination with other groups within the company. This position involves participation in project meetings and client meetings.  Some travel to plants and other offices will be required. This person will be responsible for the cost accounting and finance functions of the Long Beach plant. They will provide support to the operations group, through information analysis of production and cost variances and preparation of operations data/analyses for publication throughout the organization. Primary responsibilities will include assisting the operations team in monthly review, identification of areas for cost improvement, annual budget process, periodic forecasting, and operations analysis. Supports the Finance department as well as Plant Management and VP of Finance.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensures the manufactured direct costs are accurate and realistic by performing audits, investigative functions, and calculating overhead costs. Reporting to the Lead Machine Operator, this position will operate CNC and FrameCAD machines throughout the plant.   RESPONSIBILITIES: - Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures. - Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. - Stop machines to remove finished workpieces or to change tooling, setup, or workpiece placement, according to required machining sequences. - Check to ensure that workpieces are properly lubricated and cooled during machine operation. - Remove and replace dull cutting tools. - Lift workpieces to machines manually or with hoists or cranes. - Stack or load finished items or place items on conveyor systems. - Control coolant systems. - Maintain machines and remove and replace broken or worn machine tools, using hand tools. - Confer with supervisors to resolve machine malfunctions or production errors or to obtain approval to continue production. - Set up future jobs while machines are operating. - Clean machines, tooling, or parts, using solvents or solutions and rags. - Input initial part dimensions into machine control panels. - Lay out and mark areas of parts to be shot-peened and fill hoppers with shot. - Follow all established safety procedures - Other duties as assigned EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - The ideal candidate for the Machine Operator position will possess at least a High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience in a manufacturing or production setting. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensure equipment is maintained electrically following all of the defined safety procedures and that everyone working on the equipment is following these procedures, including LOTO.  Ensure that all guards and safety equipment is in place and operational before turning the equipment over to the operator. - Responsible to monitor, inspect and complete reports on equipment using manual and computerized maintenance management systems. - Read and interpret information and specifications from blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings in order to repair equipment, machinery, physical structures and systems. - Ability to properly use required hand tools, power tools, hoists cranes, measuring devices and testing equipment. - Initiates troubleshooting techniques to solve quality, process and electrical problems.  Must be able to properly identify problem areas with consistency and reliability, if unsuccessful in making repairs, must notify supervisor for assistance. - Perform all required electrical tasks associated with breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance and changeovers on production equipment. - Responsible to insure housekeeping is in audit ready condition after the electrical task is completed. - Provides guidance to co-workers. - Report any safety, quality, operational or output issues that you cannot correct to your supervisor. - Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.   REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: - High school diploma or equivalent - Ability to communicate in English, use measuring and testing devices, hand and power tools and basic math calculations - Mechanical aptitude necessary for fulfillment of job requirements - Must be able to interface with computers and efficient at problem solving - Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role - Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy PHYSICAL ABILITIES: - Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
