Position skills are used in SAP process design and configuration, SAP design, development, integration, testing and deployment, and/or SAP technical architecture to focus on architecting a solution using SAP to achieve a defined business outcome. Zekelman Industries is searching for a Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Millwrightfor our Atlas Tube Harrow, Ontario location.    Only applications submitted online will be accepted. Please do not drop off your application or call the Harrow facility.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Need to be able to work steady midnights - Work safely following Ontario Health & Safety Act and workplace safety practices set forth by Atlas Tube policy - Repair and maintain mechanical production and facilities equipment - Fabricate, assemble or repair components and assemblies to make ready for use on production and facilities equipment. - Precision machinery lubrication. - Strong hydraulics background & knowledge. - Responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance and modification of all production and/or facilities mechanical equipment: Mills, Slitters, Cranes, Conveyors, Coolant and Lubrication Systems, Exhaust Systems, other as required. - Work within a Team environment as well as individually and participate in Team meetings as requested. - Perform emergency maintenance work to maintain a high levels of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (O.E.E.) - Contribute to root cause analysis efforts and continuous improvement toward failure reduction/elimination. - Knowledge of Hydraulics - Initiate follow up work orders for open concerns. - Specify part requirement details for planned work. - Provide continuous improvement suggestions which improve PM activity effectiveness and the reduction of unanticipated failures. - Report discrepancies in drawings and BOM for subsequent correction - Fabricate, machine (lathe, grinder, mill, etc.), weld, fit/assemble components and assemblies as required in support of planned and unplanned maintenance. - Document full details of work activities with respect to symptom/s, root cause, extent of damage, corrective action/s. - Use the SAP - Computerized Maintenance Management System to capture daily work activities and locate parts. - Maintain high levels of 5S in within defined work and storage areas. - Other duties as assigned.   REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: - Achieved a Certificate of Qualification Industrial Maintenance Mechanic within the Ontario College of Trades Apprenticeship Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Training Standard.     - Bend, twist, stand, sit, kneel, crawl, push and pull.  Able to reach in all directions. - Walk and stand for extended periods of time to cover 12-hour shifts - Other physical requirements as needed for job. - Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role  We are Zekelman Industries.     We manufacture superior quality tubular and related products and provide outstanding service for our valued customers.    We seek to continuously advance the skills and opportunities of our employees, utilizing the latest technology and management tools available to consistently increase profitability and the enterprise value of Zekelman Industries and of our customers.  Zekelman is an Equal Opportunity Employer compliant with all Ontario law & Human Rights Code in providing accommodation to persons with disabilities and to ensuring an accessible environment. Zekelman will accommodate persons with disabilities during the recruitment and assessment processes and persons with disabilities will be accommodated on hiring and during employment.  Should you require accommodation, please do not hesitate to request it.

This person will work with other Quality Inspectors and the Quality Manager to ensure execution and maintenance of a consistent quality system.   RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform inspection on various construction functions to ensure compliance with established quality standards - Develop good working relationships with production team members to help foster a positive team environment - Supports the Quality Manager in developing policies, procedures and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations. - Assists in developing, assuring and maintaining the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures, quality audits/review, process engineering, etc. - Execute daily conformance to existing quality system and review continuous improvement. - Participates in continuous improvement activities. - Tracks and resolves quality issues and works with peers to support vendor evaluation programs. - Responsible for special projects as assigned. - Various other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager or other designated leadership members - Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role   EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - 1-2 years’ experience working in quality assurance - Experience working with residential and commercial construction. - Knowledge of building code an asset - Strong attention to detail is required - Knowledge of production policies, procedures, and safety measures. - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Able to read technical drawings - Able to read a tape measure     PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Bend, twist, stoop, sit, kneel, crawl, push and pull.
