  Zekelman Industries seeks a Staff Accountant based in our Chicago, IL office, south of the city. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Staff Accountant will assist the Director of Finance in all routine accounting activities. This role will lead the Chicago plant on a day-to-day basis as well as monitor daily banking transactions for the entire division. RESPONSIBILITIES:   - Complete all capital spend processes including developing capital requests, quarterly reporting and associated schedules. - Prepare any intercompany cross charges for all assigned companies, ensuring ledger is properly cleared in all currencies - Prepare all daily journal entries to maintain book to bank in balance - Prepare all inter-company reconciliations and clearing work, ensuring reconciliation file is accurately prepared for review at close. - Assist with Quarterly / Annual Inventories - Complete assigned monthly account reconciliations. - Complete Concur monthly journal entries and account reconciliations details for all assigned companies - Complete yield analysis as required for all assigned company operations - Assist with the annual budget process for assigned companies and assist with consolidations as required - Support the annual external audit as required with specific additional focus on cash transaction requests - Review cost savings initiatives for financial benefits - Adhoc reporting as required - Meet all required due dates with completeness and accuracy. - Perform other duties as assigned. - Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role  - Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy     QUALIFICATIONS:   College/University graduate with 2+ years experience with general ledger accounting, closing, and manufacturing.   Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking an Entitlements Manager for our office located in Austin, TX or surrounding areas. Entitlements Manager is responsible for identifying, structuring, negotiating and executing real estate transactions with a wide range of property owners and third parties for the development of high density/mixed use projects throughout the United States. The role requires development, permitting and construction experience with a focus on local entitlement process. This position requires up to 30% travel. Responsibilities:   - Manages project approvals for planning and zoning petitions, research municipal codes for preparation of PUD and or zoning documents, conducts presentations and hearing appearances and public notices as needed. - Assists Acquisitions Manager in selection of sites and potential parcels. - Creates and manages project schedules in collaboration with the entire project team. Responsible for the Entitlements and Permitting portion of the schedules. - Direct and manage 3rd party consultants through the entire Entitlement process, confirming milestones are being maintained. - Marshall Preliminary and Final Platting as needed through 3rd party consultants. - Perform high level analysis and review of title, zoning, floodplain, easements, permitting fees, entitlement process and other site-specific considerations.
