  Z-Modular currently has an opportunity for a MEP/Structural Revit Drafter in the Chandler, AZ area. This position would report to the Director of Engineering.  We are looking for someone who is highly detailed-oriented, thorough, and self-motivated. As a Drafter, you will use Revit to produce drawings for a variety of projects. This position requires the candidate to report to Project Managers and the Director of Design and follow a standard document control SOP. The candidate must be skilled with a construction administration system, such as ProCore, and to submit and track RFIs and Shop Drawings during the design stage within the Design Department of Z Modular. The ideal candidate will have an interest in modular construction, automated fabrication systems, parametric design software, and developing alternative approaches to the design and construction industry.     Z-Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Construction Manager for our location in Z-Modular in Killeen, Texas. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this person will supervise a multitude of direct reports. The CM will coordinate sections of the plant construction floor. These areas include and are not limited to framing, gypsum installation, steel cutting, texturing, ceramic installation, floor installation, MEP installation, and final finish areas of work.  This will then interact with shipping and storage as part of the overall focus. These areas could change as we execute our work from week to week and project to project.   Construction Managers determine the resources required for each aspect of the project, such as equipment or tooling needed, materials, and labor, assessing each of these for budget limitations. They make sure that the equipment and materials are acquired on time and check stock levels regularly to make sure anything that’s running low can be reordered.   RESPONSIBILITIES: - Construction Managers, plan, coordinate, and supervise the construction of commercial projects from start to finish. - Monitor the construction process to ensure the project is completed to schedule. - Assure supply needs are met at each delivery point on line - Assure off-line sequencing is handled in a timely and perfected manner. - Work full-time but may need to work additional hours to respond to delays, emergencies, or suppliers - 95% of time is on the construction site, monitoring team members, work flow, and quality and speed of construction. - Organize team members to build and allocate responsibilities and tasks to them and other staff to ensure the project is completed efficiently. - Prepare detailed reports for key stakeholders that outline the successes as well as any issues that arose throughout the development of the building. - Work safely following workplace safety practices set forth by Z-Modular & OSHA - Review daily operating reports and report operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues and shift events to superiors to prevent operational delays - Troubleshoot operational and tooling problems to improve quality and efficiency - Build and maintain a positive team-oriented environment amongst production personnel - Discipline team members in coordination with plant management and Human Resources - Obtain and/or demonstrate immediate medical treatment for all injuries - Notify appropriate management and enter required events (accidents, injuries, incidents) into Intelex Balancing Skills– Construction managers are skilled at negotiating and directing team members; whether it’s time on-line, supply and preparation off-line, reviewing quality or speed of work flow, or  managing talent within the plant each day. Reporting to the Welding Supervisor, this position will perform various welding duties throughout the plant.     RESPONSIBILITES: - Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. - Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits. - Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers. - Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. - Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment. - Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, and other alloys. - Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding. - Select and install torches, torch tips, filler rods, and flux, according to welding chart specifications or types and thicknesses of metals. - Ignite torches or start power supplies and strike arcs by touching electrodes to metals being welded, completing electrical circuits. - Connect and turn regulator valves to activate and adjust gas flow and pressure so that desired flames are obtained. - Determine required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques. - Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material. - Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding. - Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations. - Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required. - Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment. - Remove rough spots from workpieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers. - Prepare all material surfaces to be welded, ensuring that there is no loose or thick scale, slag, rust, moisture, grease, or other foreign matter. - Preheat workpieces prior to welding or bending, using torches or heating furnaces. - Develop templates and models for welding projects, using mathematical calculations based on blueprint information. - Position and secure workpieces, using hoists, cranes, wire, and banding machines or hand tools. - Guide and direct flames or electrodes on or across workpieces to straighten, bend, melt, or build up metal. - Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors. - Clean or degrease parts, using wire brushes, portable grinders, or chemical baths. - Cut, contour, and bevel metal plates and structural shapes to dimensions as specified by blueprints, layouts, work orders, and templates, using powered saws, hand shears, or chipping knives. - Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts, using cutting torches, straightening presses, and hand tools. - Fill holes and increase the size of metal parts. - Check grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments. - Operate metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines, such as brakes and shears. - Set up and use ladders and scaffolding as necessary to complete work. - Hammer out bulges or bends in metal workpieces. - Dismantle metal assemblies or cut scrap metal, using thermal-cutting equipment, such as flame-cutting torches or plasma-arc equipment. - Signal crane operators to move large workpieces. - Use fire suppression methods in industrial emergencies. - Estimate materials needed for production and manufacturing and maintain required stocks of materials. - Join parts such as beams and steel reinforcing rods in buildings, bridges, and highways, bolting and riveting as necessary. - Gouge metals, using the air-arc gouging process. - Mix and apply protective coatings to products. - Operate brazing and soldering equipment.   QUALIFICATIONS: - Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role - Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy - Follow and implement safety and quality control programs - Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL ABILITIES: - Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Reporting to the Welding Supervisor, this position will perform various welding duties throughout the plant.     RESPONSIBILITES: - Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. - Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits. - Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers. - Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. - Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment. - Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, and other alloys. - Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding. - Select and install torches, torch tips, filler rods, and flux, according to welding chart specifications or types and thicknesses of metals. - Ignite torches or start power supplies and strike arcs by touching electrodes to metals being welded, completing electrical circuits. - Connect and turn regulator valves to activate and adjust gas flow and pressure so that desired flames are obtained. - Determine required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques. - Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material. - Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding. - Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations. - Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required. - Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment. - Remove rough spots from workpieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers. - Prepare all material surfaces to be welded, ensuring that there is no loose or thick scale, slag, rust, moisture, grease, or other foreign matter. - Preheat workpieces prior to welding or bending, using torches or heating furnaces. - Develop templates and models for welding projects, using mathematical calculations based on blueprint information. - Position and secure workpieces, using hoists, cranes, wire, and banding machines or hand tools. - Guide and direct flames or electrodes on or across workpieces to straighten, bend, melt, or build up metal. - Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors. - Clean or degrease parts, using wire brushes, portable grinders, or chemical baths. - Cut, contour, and bevel metal plates and structural shapes to dimensions as specified by blueprints, layouts, work orders, and templates, using powered saws, hand shears, or chipping knives. - Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts, using cutting torches, straightening presses, and hand tools. - Fill holes and increase the size of metal parts. - Check grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments. - Operate metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines, such as brakes and shears. - Set up and use ladders and scaffolding as necessary to complete work. - Hammer out bulges or bends in metal workpieces. - Dismantle metal assemblies or cut scrap metal, using thermal-cutting equipment, such as flame-cutting torches or plasma-arc equipment. - Signal crane operators to move large workpieces. - Use fire suppression methods in industrial emergencies. - Estimate materials needed for production and manufacturing and maintain required stocks of materials. - Join parts such as beams and steel reinforcing rods in buildings, bridges, and highways, bolting and riveting as necessary. - Gouge metals, using the air-arc gouging process. - Mix and apply protective coatings to products. - Operate brazing and soldering equipment.   QUALIFICATIONS: - Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role - Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy - Follow and implement safety and quality control programs - Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL ABILITIES: - Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
