Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking an Operations Manager for our facility located in Blytheville, Arkansas.  Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Operations Manager will be responsible to supervise, instruct and coordinate daily production activities.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensure adherence to safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. - Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through observation and team input. - Notify appropriate management of work injuries, perform incident or accident investigations, and complete appropriate reports. - Drive the quality objectives of the plant by ensuring product meets customer and internal requirements through product and process inspections. - Facilitate and perform equipment set-up or adjustments when required. - Troubleshoot operational and equipment problems to improve quality and efficiency - Facilitate and promote training to meet quality expectations by ensuring all employees are trained to perform their respective jobs including the purpose of the safety features of their specific machine, workstation controls, and tools and equipment - Effectively directs hourly workforce using leadership skills to meet production goals and objectives. Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Electrical Engineer – Controls Specialist for our facility located in Blytheville, AR, Reporting to the VP of Engineering. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing/light industrial setting.     RESPONSIBILITIES: - Promote and enforce a safe, healthy work environment and work practices in accordance with ESA, MOL, and Company safety policies and procedures such as LOTO & Arc Flash. - Monitor plant systems, analyze performance, and initiate action for optimization to achieve Plant goals. - Perform cutom PLC & Drive programming for Allen Bradley, SAF, and Rexroth Components. - Diagnose and communicate root causes of electrical malfunctions and develop corrective actions. - Understand and troubleshoot machine network infrastructure and PLC systems. - Work with medium and low voltage (480-24 Volts) equipment, power distribution systems, instrumentation systems, and equipment controls. - Display a positive attitude towards your work and maintain professional, positive working relationships with others. - Work closely with Management and Operators on projects as needed. - Read, understand, and complete work orders and other paperwork related to your duties. - Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. - Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks. - Train and mentor employees. - Other related duties as assigned.   QUALIFICATIONS: - Must be able to work an off-shift (afternoon or night) as required by business needs. - Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy. - Degree, Diploma, or documented training in an electrical field from accredited college, trade school or equivalent experience required. - Minimum 5 years direct work experience in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing plant, including PLC, VFD’s, DC Drives, and induction heating units preferred. - Experience troubleshooting Allen Bradley programmable Logic Controllers and HMI devices preferred. Prior experience with ladder logic and editing is a plus. - Prior tube and/or heavy manufacturing experience preferred.   PHYSICAL ABILITIES: - Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
