  Zekelman Industries is searching for a charismatic, self-motivated Buyer to work for our Z-Modular division in Killeen, TX. The primary responsibility of the Buyer is to purchase equipment, materials, supplies, and services as required by the plant. Reporting to the Director of Logistics and Scheduling this individual will provide analytical support for all functions of logistics including carrier management, report creation/distribution, freight payment and auditing, management of freight rates database, inventory reconciliation and other operations as required.     Z Modular is seeking a Master Data Analyst at the Killeen, TX plant who provides business value by serving as the curator of master data processes. This person will be responsible for evaluating and implementing master data creation and changes across various business functions supported by the Z-Modular business functions. This person will provide expertise and deliver assigned tasks for production support as well as projects. This person will be responsible for communication to Engineering team to ensure update of models with D365 product information. Reporting to the Director of Logistics and Scheduling, this candidate will manage all completed modular inventory that is preparing to be shipped to the designated project location.   RESPONSIBILITIES: - Daily collaboration with plant/production manager on production status and requirements for manpower for resource planning - Create and maintain yard storage strategies for both on and off campus - Collaboration with Logistics team for storage at offsite locations - Updating yard storage map locations of modules physical location - Coordinate with Yard lead hand on manpower requirements and allocation of personal based on shipping and receiving needs - Ensure that all teammates are properly equipped for tasks - Daily inspection on wrap integrity and water intrusion.   Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Welder for our facility located in Killeen, Texas. Reporting to the Welding Supervisor, this position will perform various welding duties throughout the plant.     Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00-11:30pm   RESPONSIBILITES: - Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. - Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits. - Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers. - Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. - Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, and other alloys. - Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding. - Ignite torches or start power supplies and strike arcs by touching electrodes to metals being welded, completing electrical circuits. - Determine required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques. - Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material. - Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding. - Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations. - Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required. - Remove rough spots from workpieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers. - Develop templates and models for welding projects, using mathematical calculations based on blueprint information. - Position and secure workpieces, using hoists, cranes, wire, and banding machines or hand tools. - Operate metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines, such as brakes and shears. - Set up and use ladders and scaffolding as necessary to complete work. - Use fire suppression methods in industrial emergencies. - Estimate materials needed for production and manufacturing and maintain required stocks of materials.   QUALIFICATIONS: - Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role - Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy - Follow and implement safety and quality control programs - Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL ABILITIES: - Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.   Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a ConstructionSite Safety Manager for construction sites currently in Texas and Arizona, and additonal sites to be added in the future. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Health and Safety, this person is an assertive, decisive action-taker who provides leadership and support to construction sites in the area of Occupational Health and Safety.  The Construction Site Safety Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and direction of the contruction site Occupational Health and Safety Programs and will continually strive to support the company’s goals to provide a safe and healthy workplace to all of its teammates.   RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide leadership and coaching related to all safety and health matters to construction site management teams with emphasis placed on front line supervision - Assertively manage post-incident matters including incident investigations, post incident action items, Worker’s Compensation claims and Early and Safe Return to Work initiatives. - Conduct various types of periodic inspections and audits of various construction sites and specific positions in order to identify unsafe hazards and/or conditions - Make recommendations and facilitate the implementation of effective measures in accordance with the hierarchy of safeguarding controls and Z Modular’s standards to eliminate or significantly reduce hazards to an acceptable level - Facilitate and attend monthly Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings, providing guidance and expertise on safety and health matters.     Zekelman Industries is searching for a CONTROLS TECHNICIAN for our location in Killeen, TX.  Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, this position will focus on troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment such as material handling control systems, robotics, HMI systems, control cabinets, etc.   Hours: Monday - Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Update and edit PLC Programs using supplied software - Able to manage work requirements and prioritize task completion in breakdown situations - Advanced troubleshooting skills including PLC and repair of production machinery - Safely set-up, adjust, maintain and repair machinery and machine parts - Read and understand technical drawings, schematics, ladder logic, etc. - Follow all established safety procedures - Other duties as assigned   REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: - Technical or Associates Degree preferred. - Must possess extensive electrical control experience - Must have experience of Siemens control system, PLC’s and Servo controls - Experience in programming robots and vision systems preferred - Must have a working understanding of NEC and local code references, perform component sizing (wire, heaters, motors, starters, etc.) using code book - Able to work in a self-directed fashion without significant supervisory support / direction. - Strong problem solving, communication and organizational skills - Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with other team members   OTHER REQUIREMENTS: - Bend, twist, stoop, sit, kneel, crawl, push and pull.   Z-Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Flooring and Framing Worker for our location in Killeen,TX. Reporting to the Flooring and Framing Production Lead, this position will perform various decking and framing related duties throughout the plant.   FLOORING/FRAMING RESPONSIBILITIES: - Measure materials or distances, using square, measuring tape, or rule to lay out work. - Study blueprints and diagrams to determine dimensions of material to be installed or constructed. - Anchor and brace forms and other structures in place, using nails, bolts, anchor rods, steel cables, planks, wedges, and timbers. - Erect forms and framework and roof supports using hand tools, plumb rule, and level. - Assemble and fasten material together to install the floor decking using bolts, nails, or screws. - Bore bolt holes in metal using power drill. - Install rough door and window frames, subflooring, fixtures, or supports in structures - Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications, using squares, rulers, and measuring tapes. - Align and fit parts according to specifications using hand or power tools - Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools. - Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences. - Design and construct templates and fixtures, using hand tools. - Follow and implement safety and quality control programs - Other duties as assigned EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - The ideal candidate for the Flooring and Framing Worker position will possess at least a High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of experience.   SKILLS/ABILITIES: - Ability to work unsupervised - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, specifications, etc. - Knowledge and usage of measuring and testing devices, hand and power tools - Basic math abilities - Mechanical aptitude - Strong problem solving, communication and organizational skills - Uncompromising commitment to safety - Ability to communicate effectively in English   OTHER REQUIREMENTS: - Bend, twist, stoop, sit, kneel, crawl, push and pull.
